Congratulations to the cast and crew of 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' for taking 5 BAFTAs (British Oscars): Best Picture, Best Director, Best Visual Effects, Best Hair and Makeup, and the Audience Award. Dominic was on hand to attend the awards, and you can find pictures here.
I'm also starting to sort out my images section, and I've just completed work on the London pictures. In fact, I've added one new pic from that event, so do check it out.

I've added even more pictures from Japan, taken from this site. There are now 21 pictures from Dom's visit to Japan.
I've also added a new affiliate, a clique which I have also joined. Go and check out LOTR Whores!
Finally, in general LOTR:FOTR news, the film was nominated for several awards in the 2001.2 Internet Movie Awards. As soon as they fix the site (it's not working at the moment, at least for me), I'll list all their nominations.

In other news, Dominic Monaghan - along with other LOTR:FOTR costars - is currently in Japan to promote the film and attend its premiere. Dom was at a press conference for the movie, and you can see pictures from that here. Thanks to Official Lord of the Rings Website (Japan) and Orlando Bloom Multimedia for the pics. Enjoy!

I've added nine new pictures to the events pictures page. If I have the time, I'll probably sort out all of those pictures, although it's quite difficult to sort out which pictures belong together and where they're from.
I've also added a bunch of new links, including Papel: A LOTR Wallpaper Site. That site has a great Dominic Monaghan wallpaper, and one featuring the hobbits. Check that out!

Dominic Monaghan: The Unofficial Site (good site, that) reports that lucky BBC America viewers will be able to catch Episode 5 and 6 of Series 2 of 'Hetty Wainthrop Investigates.' For more info, do check this out.

I've added quite a few new pictures in the media page, including some from the opening of Viggo Mortensen's photo exhibit. Those pictures can be found at the top row (the first seven pictures) of the Images: Events page.
In other news, Dominic and Billy Boyd lost in the Best Debut category of the Empire Awards to Orlando Bloom, who as you may well know plays Legolas. 'Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' also took quite a few other awards, including Best Film. Orlando, Billy, Elijah Wood, and Ian McKellen all showed up for the event, but Dominic was a no-show (based on Empire's gallery).

I promise to do more work on this site, as I have a three-day weekend. Anyway, a new affiliate as well as new cliques/listings are below. I've also added quite a few new links. In slightly older news, Dominic Monaghan, along with his 'Lord of the Rings' costars, has earned a SAG Awards nomination for Best Ensemble Cast (the equivalent of Best Picture). Ian McKellen was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. 'Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' is also nominated for 12 BAFTAs (the British Oscars).
